An Example Channel - Toybox
The toybox channel is an open-source channel maintained by Rendered.ai that is used for educating new platform users on how they can develop and deploy their own channels to generate synthetic data. The channel creates a 3D scene with toys dropped into different containers on a range of floor backgrounds. The imaging sensor is moved at random angles and lighting is slightly adjusted to demonstrate a variety of images that can be generated with a simple channel.
The toybox channel also introduces users to concepts such as 3D modelling, scene composition, physics, and rendering, all of which are important for dataset generation using Rendered.ai.
